Southeast faces heavy job losses if defense cuts approved
COLUMBIA -- Fourteen states in the Southeast and mid-Atlantic region could lose 416,936 jobs if $1 trillion in pending Defense Department cuts go through, according to figures compiled by the George Mason researchers.
