Northeast Columbia apartment complex sells for $19.4 million

The Palms at Premier Park, a 240-unit apartment complex in northeast Columbia, has been sold for nearly $19.4 million to Charleston-based Companion Associates.

The complex, built in 2008, is at 1155 Clemson Frontage Road, near the interchange of Interstate 20 and Clemson Road. At the time of the sale, the complex was 91% occupied.

Tony Bonitati and Kay Hill, of Greenville-headquartered NAI Earle Furman, represented the seller BRC Columbia LLC, a unit of Blue Ridge Companies.

Companion Associates is a real estate development and construction company specializing in development, construction and syndication of investment properties.
