Construction of a HiWire Trampoline Park has begun at The Village at Sandhill with opening planned for late fall.

The facility at 741 Fashion Drive at the northeast Columbia shopping center will lease space from the Plex Indoor Sports complex.

The facility will feature 20,000 square feet of trampolines, including a large open trampoline field, a trampoline dodge ball stadium, an Olympic foam pit filled with more than over 50,000 cubes of foam; an obstacle course; high-wire slack lines and a flying trapeze. Trampoline aerobics classes will also be offered.

Customers pay for jumping time “per hour” with pricing between $8 and $12 per hour.

Owner and developer of the facility, Case Lawrence, also is owner of Gravitopia Trampoline Park, South Carolina’s first trampoline park scheduled to open soon in Greenville.

“Columbia is the ideal city for our next park. It has strong demographics of youth and young adults; and has an active recreational culture,” Lawrence said.
