Ishpi garners top honors among diversity-owned firms

Mount Pleasant-based Ishpi Information Technologies Inc. has been selected as a “Top Business” recipient in the 13th annual survey by DiversityBusiness, an organization that represents diversity-owned businesses.

Privately held Ishpi was ranked No. 1 in South Carolina in the Native American-owned and disabled veteran-owned business categories. The company was also selected as a one of the top 100 native-owned and disabled veteran-owned businesses in the United States.

The survey determines the top diversity-owned businesses and entrepreneurs across the United States. More than 1.3 million businesses in the United States were eligible to participate in the selection process.

Leask, co-founder, chairman, CEO and president of Ishpi. “All awards are about the employees and we are always proud of our team.”

Ishpi provides information service support for the intelligence community, Defense Department, Department of Homeland Security and federal agencies.
