The USC/Columbia Technology Incubator announced the addition of seven new technology-based companies.
Pinnacle Technologies, Pandoodle, HWL Patient Collaboration Systems LLC, Association Plus, The Crescent Co., NexSolar Technologies and Certified Master Services have joined the incubator.
“The incubator is very excited about the recruitment of these seven highly qualified companies and the potential economic impact they have for Richland County, Lexington County and the surrounding area,” said Bill Kirkland, the incubator’s executive director and entrepreneur-in-residence.
Advisory board members said the latest group of startups impressed them.
The additions bring the total number of companies added to 27 in the past 18 months. There are currently 41 companies in the incubator.
About the companies
- Pinnacle Technologies is a software development company that has created products in the areas of customer information, geographic information, work management, metering and revenue protection. The company hopes to expand to serve financial organizations worldwide.
- Pandoodle is a digital media technology company based on patented software algorithms that customize videos.
- HWL Patient Collaboration Systems aims to maximize opportunities for both software development as well as data management, by combining, analyzing, interpreting and displaying data from multiple sources.
- Association Plus aims to help associations and nonprofits streamline their business operations, reduce administrative overhead, retain and expand their membership base and generate additional revenue by utilizing the latest Web technologies.
- The Crescent Co. aims to increase the influence of nonprofit organizations in South Carolina by creating fundraising software that can be installed on smartphones.
- NexSolar Technologies has developed a technology that increases the overall energy output of traditional solar panels.
- Certified Master Services provides Teradata training to employees that will enable high government security clearances, providing highly trained consultants in an area that has difficulty recruiting qualified people.
