Auto insurer Key Insurance Co. has selected Accenture Duck Creek’s property and casualty policy software to support its product development and expansion initiatives.
The Kansas-based company added that it will also use the Accenture Duck Creek Express platform to support Web-based quoting for its agency network.
“Our focus is on providing the best service to both our customers and agents,” said Ed Sitz, IT manager of Key Insurance. “We had two priorities in our software selection — making product development and maintenance easier and giving agents faster and more direct access to those products.”
Key Insurance, which sells personal automobile policies in Kansas, Oklahoma, Nevada, Arizona and Alabama, will use Accenture Duck Creek as its core rating system.
Accenture Duck Creek has its sales, marketing and administrative operations in Columbia that employ about 100 people. It is part of Accenture, a global management consulting, technology services and outsourcing company based in Dublin. Accenture acquired Duck Creek’s operations in Columbia and Bolivar, Mo., in July 2011.
