Lisa Marie Field has been named the new membership director for Capital City Club in Columbia.

Field has served in the newspaper industry for 20 years, most recently as regional advertising director with the Morning News in Florence. Prior to that, she was director of magazines for the Winston-Salem Journal.

She is a member of City Center Partnership's marketing committee and is the staff liaison for Capital City Club's new downtown initiative, Downtown Cola Works.

Field has a bachelor’s degree in organizational communications from Queens University in Charlotte and has worked with downtown associations in Florence, as well as Asheville and Winston-Salem in North Carolina.
