The Greater Lexington Chamber and Visitors Center has opened two of its meeting spaces for its members and the public to rent.
The chamber relocated to the 7,000-square-foot building on West Main Street last fall.
“Providing these rooms is an add-on benefit and service, not only to our members but to the community as a whole,” said Randy Halfacre, chamber president and CEO, in a news release. “As Lexington continues to grow, we continue to have needs for different types of spaces to rent for meetings, reunions, receptions and seminars.”
The chamber plans to rent the Agape Community Room, a 1,800-square-feet space that can host large social gatherings, business meetings and work expos. The space includes a projector, screen, wireless Internet and sound system. The rental cost is $300 for chamber members and $600 for nonmembers.
Also for rent is the boardroom, a 600-square-foot space that seats about 30 people. It costs $125 for chamber members and $175 for nonmembers.
A $150 facility deposit is required. For more information, call 359-6113.
