The Historic Columbia Foundation will host a tax credit workshop Feb. 2 for owners of historic buildings who may be eligible for state and federal tax incentives.
The three-hour workshop, offered by the State Historic Preservation Office, will provide information about the tax incentives aimed at historic preservation, how to determine eligibility and how to use them.
Presenters also will offer an overview of the tax credits and the U.S. Secretary of the Interior’s standards for the rehabilitation of historic buildings.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Seibels House, 1601 Richland St. in Columbia.
