A New Jersey-based food distributor today announced plans to expand its operations in Chester County.
Haddon House Food Products Inc. said it will invest $3.1 million and create 100 new jobs at its existing facility at the L and C Industrial Park in Richburg. The expansion will allow for increased volume for the company’s distribution operations.
“We are pleased to take the next big step for our company and move forward with plans to greatly expand our Chester County facility. South Carolina has provided us with an excellent place to do business and an exceptional workforce,” said Bob Blake, Haddon House facility manager.
The expansion is expected to be complete by 2017.
Haddon House currently has more than 250 employees at its Richburg location. Hiring for the new positions is expected to begin in fall 2013. Anyone interested in job opportunities should send inquiries to Bob Blake at 578B L and C Distribution Center, Richburg, S.C. 29729.
