Mobley will continue to serve as a member in the firm’s assurance and advisory services practice.
“Scott and Co. will continue with Randy’s vision,” Mobley said in a news release. “Part of Randy’s vision was to start a high quality CPA firm that would become so established in Columbia and South Carolina that the firm and its name would be synonymous with high quality services with reasonable billing rates. That’s what the firm is now and will continue to be.”
Mobley earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of South Carolina in 1982 and his master’s degree in accounting from USC in 1983.
Mobley is a certified public accountant in South Carolina, North Carolina, New York and Florida.
