Gary Sass has been hired by Fort Mill-based Continental Tire the Americas to serve as sales manager for the U.S. industrial tire business unit.

The tire maker also announced it named Jason Stickley to the newly created position of manager of new business development for industrial tires.

Sass brings "progressive sales and marketing experience to the unit," the company said in a news release.

According to Tire Business, Sass previously worked for Goodyear and Goodyear's Wingfoot commercial unit before joining Continental.
