Columbia-based Colonial Life has rolled out a new application that allows customers to access claims information and policy details with Apple mobile devices.

The app, called My Colonial Life, works with devices such as the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

The app also allows users to locate a nearby agent and communicate with customer service.

It is free to download from the Apple iTunes store.
