Conti replacement tire on way to dealers




The PureContact is an all-season replacement tire that features wet braking, better tread wear and fuel efficiency, Continental Tire said in a news release. The tire fits 15- to 18-inch wheels.

Fort Mill-based Continental Tire the Americas said its newest all-season replacement tire, the PureContact, is being shipped to dealers.

The tire features “best-in-class wet braking,” fuel efficiency, better tread wear and ride comfort, Continental said in a press release.

The PureContact tire has a 60-day customer satisfaction trial, a 70,000-mile tread wear warranty and a 72-month manufacturer’s limited warranty program. The tire fits 15- to 18-inch wheels.

Continental’s presence in South Carolina is growing. The company is building a $500 million, 1 million-square-foot manufacturing facility in Sumter County.

And it recently completed a $4 million, 16,000-square-foot addition to its headquarters building in Fort Mill.
