Attorney Douglas J. Rosinski has joined the Mike Kelly Law Group in an of-counsel role.

Rosinski specializes in veterans affairs and federal litigation. His addition expands the Columbia-based firm’s veterans affairs legal offerings to clients throughout the country, the law group said.

Rosinski served four years in the U.S. Navy in submarine and nuclear propulsion programs. He has represented veterans and their survivors in benefits actions before the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims, the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit and state courts.

Rosinski has 15 years of experience in private legal practice in South Carolina, Georgia, and Washington, D.C. He also served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he developed and taught one of the first veterans’ advocacy courses in the country.

He earned his juris doctor from the University of South Carolina. He is admitted to the bar in Georgia, South Carolina and the District of Columbia; various federal jurisdictions; the Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims; the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit; and the U.S. Supreme Court.
