Gaston-based G&P Trucking Co. and Bunch Transport of North Charleston launched a strategic partnership Aug. 6.
Bunch Transport and G&P, which are both family-owned, will offer customers a combined inventory of 700 power units and 2,200 trailers.
The alliance will also offer customer benefits such as international shipping, new technology, trailer tracking and multiple shipping locations, according to Clifton Parker, president and general manager of G&P.
“Both of our companies were built on very strong relationships with our customers and a commitment to taking care of the employees that serve our customer base,” Parker said. “Our combined years of experience will benefit both our customers and our drivers.”
Rich Bundschuh, president of Bunch, said his company is pleased to enter into a strategic alliance with G&P.
“The strength of our companies coupled with the level of dedication and commitment to our staff and customers, is a win-win for everyone,” Bundschuh said.
G&P focuses on service to the Southeast, Southwest, Midwest and Mexico. It specializes in truckload freight, hauling import and export cargo from ports, dedicated routes, warehousing, transloading, third-party logistics and brokerage.
