Kurt Eyring, vice president and partner of Miller-Valentine Group, has been named chairman of the Associated Builders and Contractors of the Carolinas, Columbia Council.

The Columbia Council is one of eight committees that supports the efforts of ABC in the Carolinas region. Most recently, the council was recognized by the ABC for its achievement in membership retention and membership growth.
“The role of the chairman is important to leading the council in the betterment of our industry,” said Doug Carlson, president of ABC. “Mr. Eyring’s leadership and commitment to the industry exemplifies the principals which ABC stands for. The efforts and commitment of the entire council is recognized by their growth in membership.”
Eyring has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry and has been involved in a broad scale of commercial and industrial projects.
