The Lexington County Legislative Delegation appointed Richard McIntyre as its newest delegate to the Richland-Lexington Airport Commission.

McIntyre serves as Lexington market president for First Reliance Bank, where he oversees the acquisition of branch locations, recruiting staff and developing a banking organization in Lexington County. A graduate of the University of South Carolina, McIntyre has 23 years of banking experience including nearly 10 years with First Reliance Bank.
McIntyre has served on numerous boards and committees in the Columbia and Lexington communities, including the Indian Waters Council of Boy Scouts of America executive and advisory board, and the Riverbanks Zoo Foundation board of directors. He is also a 20-year member of the Lexington Rotary Club and Lexington Chamber of Commerce.
The Richland-Lexington Airport Commission serves as the governing body of the Richland-Lexington Airport District, a political subdivision of the state of South Carolina. It comprises five appointees each from Richland and Lexington counties and two from the city of Columbia.
