Four Elliott Davis construction staff members earn certification

Elliott Davis LLC, a regional accounting, tax and consulting services firm, announced that four of its staff earned the designation of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professional.

The Institute of Certified Construction Industry Financial Professionals is a national organization that promotes best practices in construction financial management. Only 14 professionals in South Carolina and 27 professionals in North Carolina are CCIFP credentialed.

All four staff members are certified public accountants working with the firm’s construction practice.

Todd Soderlund is located in the firm’s Columbia office. With more than 17 years of experience, Soderlund provides comprehensive assurance and advisory services to general and specialty contractors as well as engineering firms in the Carolinas. His clients range from startups to large firms with operations and locations in multiple states.

Travis R. Bogan works in the firm’s Greenville office. He has more than 16 years of experience, and provides tax planning and compliance services to construction contractors in the industry.

Jim White, also in the firm’s Greenville office, provides advisory and tax services to clients in the construction industry in North and South Carolina. He has more than 10 years of experience and has served a wide range of contractors in the industry.

David Turner is located in the firm’s Charlotte, N.C. office. With more than 10 years of experience, Turner has served a variety of clients within the industry from general contractors to electrical, mechanical, grading and other specialty subcontractors. Serving clients in North and South Carolina, he provides audit, review and compilation services as well as a variety of management advisory services.
