Lexington Medical Center board elects officers, new member




The 21-member Lexington Medical Center board of directors elected Billy Oswald chairman and Dan Jones vice chairman at its meeting July 22. In addition, the board appointed a new member.

The 21-member board of directors of Lexington Medical Center elected Billy Oswald chairman and Dan Jones vice chairman at its meeting July 22. In addition, the board appointed a new member.

Oswald is an attorney in private practice in West Columbia. He has lived in Lexington County with his wife, Brenda, for 40 years. He previously served as vice chairman of the board. He has been a board member for seven years.

Jones is the vice president of government relations for Time Warner Cable’s S.C. division and has more than 30 years’ experience in federal, state and local government relations. He and his wife, Pat, have three children and two grandchildren. He has been a member of the board since 2008.

Additionally, Lexington Medical Center named Bert Holland to the board. A lifetime resident of Lexington County, Holland graduated from the University of South Carolina and served for 30 years with Johnson & Johnson in health care positions including sales, marketing, training and hospital supply chain management.
