Three Rivers Behavioral Health, a Psychiatric Solutions Inc. facility, announced that Janet Haladay has been appointed to serve as the vice president for the Midlands Chapter of the South Carolina Gerontological Society.
Haladay is a professional relations representative at Three Rivers, where she focuses on educating the community about issues related to aging adults.
As vice president, Haladay will be responsible for securing speakers for chapter meetings and fulfilling the president’s duties in his or her absence. She will begin her tenure in January 2011, and will serve as the president of the chapter in 2012.
The Midlands Chapter of the South Carolina Gerontological Society has about 30 members and works with the Upstate Chapter to promote awareness that will improve the quality of life of older adults in the state.
