S.C. BlueCross names VP of marketing and sales




William Igleheart BCBSSC BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina has named William S. Igleheart as vice president of marketing and sales for the company’s small group and individual insurance unit. He has more than 30 years’ industry experience.

William Igleheart BCBSSCBlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina has named William S. Igleheart vice president of marketing and sales for the company’s small group and individual insurance unit.

With more than 30 years’ experience with insurance companies, Igleheart has senior-level leadership in market research, marketing campaigns, product introductions, sales, distribution channel management, direct marketing, advertising, customer relations and service.

He has lived in Dallas, Atlanta and Hollywood, Fla., working for BlueCross and other national insurance companies, as well as in group health brokerage.

Igleheart earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio. His past community service includes serving as president-elect of the Brookhaven Rotary Club in Atlanta and working in youth sports programs in Dallas and Atlanta.
