KilgusThe project management team at LCK now includes Scott Burriss, whose focus is industrial renovations and new development projects. 

Chandler Kilgus has joined Thomas & Hutton’s civil department as a designer. He earned a bachelor of science in civil engineering from the University of South Carolina.

Financial Services

BrownAt First Reliance Bank, Zach Brown has been promoted to vice president, director of customer solutions and asset management. In his new position, Brown oversees management of the bank’s customer-care call center, facilities, collections, and special assets. He received a degree in business management from Florence-Darlington Technical College.

CreecyUnited Home Loan Services named Charner Creecy as the company’s first director of communications. She brings nearly 14 years of experience in marketing, communications, and brand management to her new position. Creecy earned a bachelor’s in public relations from the University of South Carolina and a master’s in leadership communication from Queens University of Charlotte. 

GallowaySafe Federal Credit Union’s new vice president of human resources is Thomas Galloway. Galloway has more than 15 years of experience in human resource management, most recently as director of human resources at Bomag Americas. He holds a bachelor of science in marketing and management with a focus in human resources from the University of South Carolina.

WrightTravis Wright, sales manager at Mortgage Network’s Columbia branch, made the Experience.com list of America’s Top Loan Officers for Customer Satisfaction for 2021. He is licensed to originate mortgages in the Carolinas and Georgia.

 

Government Services

Michael E. Hutchins, vice chairman of the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources Board, received a South Carolina Order of the Palmetto, the state’s highest civilian award for lifetime service and achievements of national and statewide significance.

Law

Among Turner Padget’s new hires is Charles S. Gwynne Jr., of counsel, who has joined the firm’s Columbia litigation practice group. He defends insurance carriers and individuals throughout all aspects of litigation, including case investigation, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trials. Gwynne earned his bachelor of arts from Ithaca College and his juris doctor from Suffolk University Law School.

Amanda Mellard has joined Robinson Gray as a member, working out of Greenville. Her practice focuses on workers’ compensation defense. Mellard received her bachelor’s in political science from Clemson University and her juris doctor from the University of South Carolina School of Law.
